Evie is the newest member of the Hopemead family.
She is our next adventrue companion and definitely takes after her mum Ali. She is a natural snow lover and a great cross country ski companion when we get the chance to head to the snow. She also loves exploring with us on hikes and trail runs. Growing up in the Northeast of Victoria she is a river and lake lover, leaping into them both with great gusto. We haven’t got her out in the kayaks yet but it is on the cards soon.
She, like her mother, loves to retrieve although we have not gone down the path of any formal retriever training.
Evie is certainly one of the friendliest labs we have ever had. If given the opportunity she will be right next to you, often accompanied by a big lick. She also has an independent side, often waiting by the backdoor so she can just go explore the backyard by herself. She is very sweet natured and it is hard not to melt when she comes up and rets her head on your knee.
