Ali is the dog that started Hopemead kennels.
She is a “go anywhere” dog. She comes, kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, cross country skiing, hiking and swimming at every opportunity. She even spends some time as a “crag dog” hanging out at the bottom of rock climbing walls.
She has a great drive to retrieve. Although she has never competed in field trials she has returned her fair share of ducks. I spent many mornings training her and she helped me discover the joys of retrieving.
Despite being an adventurous dog Ali is more than happy to do her Labrador thing and curl up inside by the fire. A great temperament, she is gentle with every person and dog she meets, once she gets past the excitement of new friends.
